Concert of sadness
The performance takes place in a mobile space installation which can be set up anywhere with enough space for a circle of chairs for up to 30 people.

Festival of sadness
The Festival of sadness takes place in collaboration with the hosting organiser (organisation, museum, gallery, theatre, convention centre etc.). The centrepiece of the festival is The concert of sadness. The host can expand the programme with one or more contributions of his choosing (workshop, presentation, lecture etc.).

(*Handkerchief Embroidery Workshop)
Additionally to the concert, as another contribution to the festival, we can offer a Handkerchief Embroidery Workshop conducted by the artist Desiree Hammen. The workshop is a tribute to the old-fashioned white handkerchief and a consoling gesture that has almost been forgotten. During the workshop participants have the opportunity to reflect upon or share moments of sadness.
